Frequently Asked Questions

What is copywriting?

Copywriting is writing that gets people to take action.

It always includes a CTA (call to action) — so potential clients take action when they visit your webpage or read your blog. For example, inspired by a CTA, a reader might follow you on social media, opt-in to your email list, sign up for your services, or schedule an appointment with you.

What does a mental health copywriter do?

I write copy (including blog posts, website pages, social media posts, and emails) so you don’t have to.

I craft well-researched, inspired, and customer-focused copy designed to expand your reach, grow your client base and connect with the clients you already have.

I work day in and day out with professionals just like you who want to grow their business but don’t have the time, energy, or knowledge to do so.

Let me do the writing so you can get back to doing what you do best — helping your clients.

Do I need a blog?

Blogs are a fantastic way to build authority and credibility in your niche as well as connect with both existing and potential clients.

Every blog I write is well-researched and adds value to your audience.

What should I blog about?

That’s where I come in!

If you have your own ideas for blog posts — fantastic! If you don’t — no worries! I have a list of blog ideas ready to go.

What’s your payment policy?

I require a 50% payment upfront for a one-time project. The rest will be due upon receipt of the first draft.

Payments for retainers and bundles are negotiated ahead of time but generally will be due on the first of the month.

What’s your turnaround time?

I try to accommodate the schedules of each of my clients. We will agree upon a due date that works for both of us.

Do you offer revisions?

Yes. Two rounds of revisions are included in the cost of the service. The first round includes addressing any edits or comments you have for me. The second is a final look to make sure every comma is in place and you can confidently hit publish.

How does the process work?

If you’re a new client, schedule a consultation and we’ll hop on a Zoom call to discuss:

  • Your project goals

  • Your ideal client/audience

  • Your pain points

If phone or video calls aren’t really your thing, send me an email at hello@christinewestcreative.com to discuss your project.
